The girls woke up this morning and insisted on getting their exercise outfits on so they could start warming up for the Serenbe Olympics. The opening ceremony wasn't until 2:00, but they couldn't think about anything else. They started with stretches on the front porch followed by a few short races against each other. This wasn't enough warming up, so they asked Daddy to take them to the soccer field to complete the "warm up" process. We put on our Olympic T-Shirts, grabbed our neighbors and headed to the Opening Ceremony.
Derek and Cassidy were on the White Team and Chamberlain and I were on the Natural Team. It was almost 3 hours of pure happiness and laughter. We had the best time and were so thankful Derek could change his flight to join us. The girls will never forget this day and we will look forward to many more Serenbe Olympics!
