The girls and I headed out Saturday morning for Birmingham to spend the weekend with Derek's family to celebrate his brother's beautiful, soon to be, bride. First stop, breakfast at the Blue Eyed Daisy where Chamberlain got stung by a bee or yellow jacket. Not a great start to our trip, but she was a trouper. She woke up Sunday morning with her hand and two fingers warm and swollen. Her pinky was so swollen the tip of it was white with pressure, but she didn't miss a beat. She would come over to me, whisper that it hurt, but then would take off running to play with her cousin Madeleine. The girls loved visiting Sarah and Falin, getting to see Aunt Alexis and Madeleine and Nanna. Chamberlain and Madeleine are so similar it is crazy. It is so fun to watch them in action. Chamberlain and Cassidy haven't stopped talking about the trip. They like to call Sarah "the wedding girl" also known as Barbie. We can't wait to spend more time with everyone at the wedding in Seaside soon!

No wonder Cassidy stayed up so late. She was able to conserve her energy all day because Madeleine carried her every chance she got.
