Afternooner

Chamberlain became an "Afternooner" today at school.  With this new title, she is able to have lunch at school and stay till 2:30.  I picked her up late a few weeks ago, and she saw what the "Afternooners" did and she hasn't stopped talking about it since.  I know she is ready, it was just hard trying to manage work around the new pickup time.  I think I have it worked out, as long as Chamberlain enjoys it.  I drove over to the school just a minute ago to see her walk by with her classmates to go to lunch.  She looked all grown up and I teared up as I hid in the car.  She looked so happy holding hands with her friends.  It was a beautiful moment.  Time is flying by and they are growing up way too fast.
